AI Coaching & Advising

One-on-one generative AI coaching for individuals and small teams: regular working sessions that build real, durable skill, the way you'd learn an instrument.

Learn AI like you'd learn an instrument

Nobody learns the piano from a single seminar. Generative AI is the same: fluency comes from regular, guided practice on material that matters to you. In each session we work directly on your tasks, so you leave with something finished and a technique you'll reuse.

For individuals and teams of up to four

Sessions run about an hour, over video. Individuals get a private lesson tailored to their role; small teams (capped at four people so everyone stays hands-on) learn together on shared workflows. Most clients book a recurring weekly or biweekly time.

Why Coaching

What you get from a recurring session

Sessions Built Around Your Work

Bring the memo, the dataset, the grant draft, the workflow that's bugging you. Every session works on your real tasks, so the skill transfers immediately.

A Standing Expert in Your Corner

Between sessions, you're not on your own. A recurring cadence means there's always a near-term moment to bring the question you'd otherwise sit on.

Skills That Compound

Like lessons with an instrument, the gains come from regular practice with feedback, not from a single inspiring workshop that fades in a month.

Private & Judgment-Free

Ask the basic questions you can't ask in front of your team. Many of my coaching clients are leaders who want fluency before they set direction for others.

Who It's For

A good fit if you are…

  • Faculty members rethinking their courses and research workflows
  • Provosts, deans, and executive directors who want personal AI fluency
  • Advancement and communications professionals leveling up their craft
  • Small teams (up to 4) who want to learn together on shared work
  • Anyone who left a keynote or workshop thinking “I need more of this”

Pricing: Sessions are priced per session, like music lessons: $100 for individuals and $200 for teams of up to four. No long-term contract: book a recurring time, and pause or stop whenever you like. The first conversation is a free consultation to set your goals.
